Hi, I’m Dr. Morgan McCoy. After graduating from UW Madison’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, I moved to New York City to complete a year long internship at a busy referral center in Manhattan. From there, I moved to Chicago where I worked in emergency and general practice. Since then, I’ve come home to Wisconsin and have been practicing in Racine since 2012. In 2016 I graduated from the Healing Oasis Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Certification Program and became a member of the College of Animal Chiropractic. Currently I am pursuing Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities and have become certified in Veterinary Acupuncture through the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida. I have a very strong interest in integrative approaches to pain management and treatment of systemic diseases, Outside of Magnolia Springs, you can usually find me chauffeuring my two small children, cooking, or half finishing a project from another new hobby. You’ll probably see at least one member of my family around the hospital at some point, whether it’s my old man Pug (Doug), baby girl French Bulldog (Marge), most handsome kitty (Yusuf), or starving kitty (Agnes).

Hi, I’m Dr. Melissa Gallick. Since I’ve been a child, I have known that I wanted to be a veterinarian. I grew up having many different kinds of animals from reptiles, dogs and cats, to large animals such as pigs, sheep and cattle. After graduating from veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010, I moved to Orlando, Fl to begin my career at a busy general practice. In 2011 I moved back to Wisconsin and practiced in Madison, Wi for a few more years. In 2013 I moved back near my hometown and have been practicing in the Racine area ever since. I have a strong interest in dentistry/oral surgery, dermatology, internal medicine, and oncology.

Outside the clinic I enjoy being with my husband and 3 kiddos. We love being outdoors and traveling as much as possible (particularly in the winter to escape the cold). We have 2 dogs, an English Bulldog/Boxer mix (Penny), and a Munsterlander mix (Payton), and 3 cats (Olaf, Raisin, and Peter). We live on a small farm and raise pigs, chickens, and also have two cool peacocks (Kevin and Karla).

Brittany

Brittany

Certified Veterinary Technician

Hi, I’m Brittany. I went off to college having no idea what career path I was going to take. With the help of my advisor after listing off a few of my interests, he pointed me in the direction of a vet hospital that was hiring Pre-Vet students. Working with and helping animals became my passion and I knew right then that this is what I wanted to do. I graduated MATC Madison in 2010 with a veterinary technician degree and became certified. I spent 3 years at a general practice but was eager to learn more. I joined WVRC and spent the last 8 years working in internal medicine and filling in for emergency services as needed. Although the specialty is very exciting and rewarding, it also can be very stressful and I felt that it was time to change back to general practice. Magnolia Springs made me feel right at home and I couldn’t be happier working with their incredible staff. I look forward to coming to work every day and couldn’t be more proud to be working for this amazing hospital.

Emma C.

Emma C.

Certified Veterinary Technician

Hi, My name is Emma Growing up I always knew I wanted to work with animals, and I actually never had animals of my own until I was 18. I guess playing with family member pets, is where it all started. After high school I attended Gateway and started the nursing program – I didn’t know much about veterinary medicine, and thought the only way to be in the field was to be a Veterinarian. After gaining more knowledge, I moved my studies to Milwaukee Career College and obtained my vet assistant diploma. After working in the field for about three years, I went a little further and took my licensing test to become a CVT, and I passed it in 2016! I have a love for surgery, but I am always up for puppy and kitten play time! I have 2 dogs, Hurley (Cockapoo) and Boo (Maltese). I can’t wait to meet you and your fur family!

Amanda

Amanda

Veterinary Technician

I knew from a young age that I wanted to help people and animals. I got my first animal-related job at a dog daycare and realized that I wanted to learn and do more. This led to me pursuing a career where she could help people and their pets. One of my favorite aspects of the job is getting to see puppies and kittens start their lives as new patients, and watching them grow from one visit to the next. I also enjoy seeing sick animals come back healthier. At home, I has 3 pets; a Great Pyrenees named Cooper, a mutt named Walter, and a black cat named Hans. My hobbies include reading, yoga, and hiking.

Margaret

Margaret

Receptionist

Hi, I’m Margaret. As a life-long pet owner, it seems perfect for me to have a retirement job in a veterinary center. I have lived in Racine my whole life with the exception of a few years in Madison during college. I think living with and caring for pets makes us more complete human beings. I love interacting with our clients who care so much for their companion animals. Every day working at Magnolia Springs is a great day for me. Come and see what a great place it can be for you and your pets.

Dawn G.

Dawn G.

Receptionist

Hi, I’m Dawn. I’ve been in the medical and veterinary fields since I was 19, and have been the go-to pet caretaker for family and friends since long before that. When I got the opportunity to change from human medicine to veterinary back in 2002, there was no looking back. I’ve always felt a deep connection with animals and for me this field isn’t just my job, it’s my calling in life.

When I’m not at the office helping take care of your furry friends, I’m at home taking care of my own little dog pack, and my husband. When we have weekend time together, we love to go thrift shopping and watch wrestling. Cooking and yoga are my favorite ways to wind down when I get the chance, if I don’t get distracted by the million other things my brain comes up with.

I’m so happy to be with the Magnolia Springs team, and to meet you all!
